Illinois CIBER supports research and teaching in international business and business foreign languages for faculty and doctoral students through a variety of funding opportunities and programs. Scholarships are provided to attend Faculty Development in International Business (FDIB) programs and conferences that help internationalize teaching and research. By working with other CIBER schools, we offer academic seminars and conferences on cutting-edge topics.
Funding is available for research support and course development in international business and business foreign languages. Priority for these awards is given to proposals with relevance to one of the program areas or THEMES for the grant cycle. Since the first grants were awarded in 1993, over $738,000 has been given in research and course funding.
